As you probably know I have been focusing on portraits a period know, and recently I have been looking through portraits from magazines which capture the summer atmosphere and beautiful nature. Summer is one of my favourite seasons because I have so many good memories, and I have a book where I write them down. So when I have a bad day I often read them. On that moment it feels like the time has stopped and I am suddenly transported back in time. The feelings are changed, and I realize that life can be beautiful. This is one of the reasons I love writing it's sort of a time machine which keep your memories alive. I think many of my readers love reading books and stories, and most probably I will introduce a new part of me when it comes to art and that is writing.

The Fox

Faux Fur Coat - Bikbok
Bag - H&M
Pants - Bikbok
Boots - H&M

It's a different look from what I usually do, and I decided to curl my hair which I haven't done for a very long time. My room has hidden treasures (I always find new things in small shelves) and I found a set of unused mac products like gel liner and eye shadow. The weather is getting cold here, and after I took these photos it started to snow a lot. Now the streets are covered with snow. It's not tempting to go outside of the house when it's so cold. Anyways, I hope that you have a wonderful day!

Steps for flawless skin

Do you remember I asked you about if you wanted to have a post about how to get flawless skin? I didn't expect that so many of you were positive about it. To be honest I think a little part of it is because of genetics, but a big part is something we can do. So based on experiences and knowledge I have listed up some steps which you can follow.

1. Wash your face with cold water in the morning. It makes you feel fresh and more awake, and you're ready to start a new day.

2. The most important is to drink enough water during the day.

3. I have a skin type which reacts easily to unhealthy food like chocolate and chips. So I try to prevent eating unhealthy, and instead I eat at least two fruits a day, for example apples and grapes.

4. Different people have different skin types. There're skin products for thin skin type, thick skin type or skin type which is between these two. It's important to use products which fits for your skin type. I have a thin skin type, and I usually use there products since I was very little, and it has given me great results since then. So I have kept using it. There're no perfume and other things which can be allergens. Because the body reacts to types of things like allergens and can give skin outbreaks. But the most important is to try different products and see what fits you.

5. Before you go to sleep remove all the make up. It's really important to let the skin breathe, because sometimes the skin can react to make up as well. Then wash your face with water which is not too cold or too hot. After that dry your face and put on a face cream.

6. When you have got skin outbreaks don't touch these areas, even though it's irritating. Because then there will be more bacterias and it might get worse, and don't touch other areas which don't have outbreaks because then new ones will occur! When you have skin outbreaks don't wear too much make up, because it might irritate, but use a little bit make up to cover these areas. When it gets better you can go back to the normal routine whether it's a lot of make up or not.

I hope that these steps can be helpful, and write a comment if this works!

Into the light

Tartan Coat - Bikbok
I hope that everyone is having a great 2014 so far. Before I properly go into the New Year I want to post one of my last outfits from the 2013 which I haven't posted on this blog before. I remember this day so clearly, especially the beautiful sunset and walking endless hours by the sea, looking at the twittering birds and inspiring landscapes. I don't wear any make up on these photos. Once a week I don't wear any make up at all because it's important to let the skin breath.

Happy New Year! The first post in 2014. Today, it was really cold and it has been really dark outside with rain, and this inspired me to do a vampire inspired look. I hope you had a wonderful New Year's Eve! I spent time with my family and attempted to take photos of fireworks.
In the comments a lot of you have asked me what my ethnicity is, and some of you have tried to guess.
A lot of people I have met always ask me about this, because I look mixed. I'm going to reveal it, and say that I am mixed. I am a French-Cambodian-Vietnamese mix. Some of you have noticed that I have a light skintone, which I think I have heritaged from my French ancestors.
For 2014, I will try a new hairstyle, meaning I will grow out my bangs. I am going to miss my bangs, but I have been having it for five years so I will try something new. I don't know how 2014 will be, life has so many surprises. But I hope that all of my readers are having a great 2014!
